Acer Aspire 5 Review
The Aspire 5 is a pillar of Acer’s vast affordable laptop series, and it undergoes periodic modifications and updates. The 2019 model (A515-54-51DJ) evaluated here is a slim, light 15-inch notebook that’s a significant improvement over the one tested last autumn. The new Acer Aspire 5 approaches the upper price range of the affordable laptop market at $529. The cheapest Acer Aspire 5 has the price tag of $349, but spending an additional price of $180 for our tester machine gets you a better screen, improved performance on ordinary computing activities, and an impressive battery life.
Foresee a few negatives, such as a bunch of annoying bloatware and mediocre build quality, which implies that, like practically every budget notebook, the Aspire 5 is a research in sacrifices. However, it strikes a balance better than most of the other laptops in market for this price.
