Asus TUF Gaming A17 Review
Asus’ TUF gaming laptops are priced and positioned lower than its elite Republic of Gamers (ROG) models, but the Asus TUF Gaming A17 provides more than you might think for the price. It features a powerful eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 4800H “Renoir” chipset, 16GB of RAM, and a colossal 1TB solid-state drive. Its 17.3-inch full HD display is supported by a competent Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU. Asus TUF Gaming A17 has a better battery life and a stronger structure than many competitors in this price range, having passed MIL-STD 810H shock, vibration, and environmental extremes tests. The GTX 1660 Ti won’t be able to fully utilize the system’s 120Hz-refresh-rate screen—and the screen isn’t the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen. The A17, on the other hand, is a good alternative for plus-size gaming with toughness on a budget.
