Dell Latitude 5300 Chromebook Enterprise Review
You’ve probably heard of the Starship Enterprise…but what about the Chromebook Enterprise? The phrase isn’t as strange as it was a few years ago. Businesses and IT departments have long used the Google Admin Console and its 2017 successor Chrome Enterprise to gain security controls such as disabling lost Chromebooks, access to corporate data via Active Directory integration and single sign-on support, and simplified fleet management and updates. The Dell Latitude 5300 2-in-1 Chromebook Enterprise ($1,169 as tested) is one of the first systems to incorporate these features out of the box, removing the need for the $50 per device per year Chrome Enterprise Upgrade. It’s a shamelessly costly 13.3-inch convertible, but it’s also one of the sleekest and fastest Chromebooks on the market.
