Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 Review
While Lenovo’s Legion series appeals to serious gamers, the IdeaPad brand offers more budget-friendly gaming laptops. The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 is a low-price option that features the most recent Intel and Nvidia components. (An Intel-based variant with an ”i” in the model name will also be available from Lenovo.) The physical body of the 3 is strong, the keyboard is comfy, and the CPU is capable, but the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU is lackluster. Comparable or gaming systems having lower price provide comparable or greater graphics performance, while some somewhat highly-priced laptops provide significantly higher frame rates than the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3. At the same price point, the MSI Bravo 15 is a better buy. Whereas the Acer Predator Helios 300 is our favorite option at the high end of the price range.
