Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 Review
Our favorite business-focused convertible notebook is Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 (starts at $1,319; $2,219 as tested). It addresses the majority of the issues we had with the X1 Yoga Gen 5’s battery life and now supports Intel’s Evo platform for quick wake-ups and other creature pleasures. But it’s taller 16:10 screen, superior input devices, and isolated pen that actually set it apart from respectable competitors like the Dell Latitude 7420 2-in-1 and the HP EliteBook x360 1040 G8. It’s not inexpensive, but when our main gripe is a lack of availability in traditional ThinkPad black, you know there’s not much to gripe about.
Rest assured that Lenovo has a ThinkPad convertible to suit everyone’s needs. Which is the thinnest and lightest? Consider the X1 Titanium Yoga. A ThinkPad X-series classic? The X13 Yoga is what I’m referring to. On a tight budget? The L13 Yoga is right around the corner. And what if you don’t want to use a keyboard? There’s the X12 Detachable and the perplexing X1 Fold.
