MSI GE76 Raider Review
In contrast to Alienware’s x17, the MSI GE76 Raider 2021 ($3,299 as tested) is a large-screen gaming laptop that doesn’t aim to be small. Because of its size, it has thermal strength that allows it to operate quietly when gaming, and it has decent networking as well as a better-than-average camera and speakers. However, those are the only serious drawbacks of this 17.3-inch rig, which otherwise fails to wow. Its performance is adequate but not exceptional, particularly in esports; its high-refresh screen is too dull; and its build quality is unimpressive. The Asus ROG Zephyrus S17 remains our top pick for an outstanding big-screen monitor; if you need more power, consider the 16-inch Lenovo Legion 7i Gen 6.
