Skytech Chronos Desktop PC Review
The SkyTech Chronos is designed to provide a great gaming performance. It’s definitely intelligent and elegant, a handsome gaming PC. Still, we have to wonder how it would fair against its more powerful sibling, the Skytech Archangel. The Chronos looks nice, and it fits nicely on the desktop of a gamer who still appreciates exquisite design – but can it equal rivals’ physical strength in the greatest current PC games?
The 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU, which competes with Intel’s Core i7-9700K processor, is the standout part here. It has a 3.7GHz CPU on a B450 motherboard, which is plenty for multi-threaded programmes. You also get 16GB of RAM and 1TB of solid-state storage, which is plenty for saving your games and downloads.

Some Popular Games’ FPS test:
Modern games will run at smooth frame rates, giving it a significant increase over the standard RTX 2070 GPU.
Metro Exodus (2019) runs between 33 and 36 frames per second (fps) on Ultra configurations in 4K, with minor screen tearing. However, when set to FHD, it plays at a steady 80-4 fps, only lowering those frame rates during some dramatic moments. It runs the Hitman 2 (2018) benchmark (ultra-settings) with 81 frames per second in FHD, tying the Trace 9230 and outperforming the average. In 4K, the frame rate fell to 61 fps, well behind the gaming desktop standard and MSI’s machine.
On Shadow of the Tomb Raider (maximum settings) 109 fps are reached in FHD and 43 fps in 4K, which is slightly higher than the gaming desktop norms (94 fps and 34 fps, correspondingly) but only slightly lower than the Vengeance in our comparison group. The Chronos performs at 140 fps in FHD and 102 fps in 4K on the Grand Theft Auto V (2015) test (very high configuration). On the SteamVR performance test, the SkyTech Chonos gaming PC receives a flawless score of 10.
Verdict:
The SkyTech Chronos setup described here is a fantastic, future-proofed gaming rig that actually feels great in-game. Simply said, it’s a gaming monster, with plenty of raw energy to run any processor-hungry, graphics-heavy AAA game without hesitating, delivering a truly immersive gaming experience. This also apply to demanding applications like as video editing, and all of this comes at a lesser price than comparably feature – packed popular gaming PCs. And, because the SkyTech Chronos gaming PC is built to be upgradeable, you can simply upgrade the parts as you can pay and need to.
